A Little History About Summit Prep

Summit Preparatory Charter High School is the founding flagship school for Summit Public Schools, and opened its doors in 2003 in Redwood City. Over the last decade, Summit Prep has earned a reputation as one of the best public high schools in the nation. In 2015, US News & World Report ranked Summit Prep as one of the nation’s Best High Schools and Washington Post ranked it as one of America's Most Challenging High Schools. Last year, 99% of Summit Prep's graduates were accepted to at least one four-year university joining the ranks of many successful alumni before them.
